FREE EVENT

Supported by @blakdotgallery, @colectiva_abyayala invites you to an autumn equinox celebration welcoming the new season on the lawns of Blak Dot in Brunswick.

This is a gathering that will offer the space for sharing experiences to honour the moment when the day and night are equal in length. To celebrate this turning point, we will have inspiring workshops, performances and live shows to think about what we have harvested during the past season and to envision what would be our seedings for the coming one.

We’ll also have delicious food and a vibrant dance floor to energize our bodies.

Latin Folk Pop - Live Show

Karina will be sharing with us a live show of her recent singles to honor the change of season and bring us images from Latin American lands.

Karina Lehman is a Chilean/Australian singer-songwriter. Her sound mixes various rhythms from Latin America and incorporates elements of pop, bossa nova, jazz and folk, while embracing multiple languages like Portuguese, Spanish and English.

She debuted with her solo project last April 2020 with song ‘Son de la Luna Dormida’, followed by ‘Contigo’ and ‘Oh Eah’, and started the last year 2021 releasing her first song in English "Sunset dreams" followed by a fresh bossa-samba “Vagabundeando” and a romantic ballad “Winter” released the last 10th of September.

She released her single number 7 “No seas malo” last 16th December 2021, a song that talks about destructive relationships, with the intention to remind audiences that love should never hurt and that we must run away from these types of relationships.
