Blak Dot Gallery is Australia’s leading space for contemporary First Nations art; a place to experience bold, diverse work and support the growth of First Nations creative voices.

Thanks to our community’s support, we’ve spent over a decade building a culturally safe, respectful, and sustainable arts space rooted in sovereignty, reciprocity, and respect.

As of March 2025, we’ve moved into our new home at Balam Balam Place in Brunswick - an exciting new chapter. But bricks and mortar are only part of the story. As a not-for-profit, we rely on funding and the generosity of our volunteers to bring the space to life.

Your donation helps us continue supporting First Nations artists and filling the gallery with powerful work. You can also purchase artworks through our online shop — with 100% of the proceeds going to the artists.
