GRAINED:
Open Call for Artistic Proposals
We are inviting artists to submit proposals for inclusion in Grained, an exhibition project curated by Playte, and presented in partnership with Blak Dot Gallery and Nongkrong Festival.
With a short timeframe to work with, we are open to what you may be able to contribute - whether that’s new work, existing works that haven’t yet been shown, or previously exhibited pieces you’d like to re-work or re-exhibit for this context.
Grained offers a space for emerging artists to experiment, test ideas, and engage with Blak Dot’s gallery context while connecting with the diverse local and international audiences drawn through Nongkrong Festival. Depending on final programming and funding, there may also be an artist fee available.
We welcome artists from a range of cultural and creative backgrounds to submit proposals that respond to, challenge, or expand on the themes of Grained.
