We need your help to re-imagine our outdoor space turning it into an outdoor gallery that will be activated by the Community for the Community over summer. As part of this we are collaborating with Giant Grass who will be running co-building workshops to build some exciting structures using bamboo.
In this FREE workshop you will learn various techniques of working with bamboo including how to build hyperbolic paraboloid entrances and collapsible arches using bamboo strips while creating a site pacific art installation on the front lawns of the gallery.
We are looking for people to volunteer over the next two weekends (lunch provided) to help us re-imagine this space for the summer.
Dates: Sun 21 Nov, Sat 27 Nov, Sun 28 Nov
Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Blak Dot Gallery, Siteworks, Brunswick
Cost: FREE (Registration required)
