Local and international First Nations artists market in Bulleke bek(Brunswick)
To coincide with this years Sydney Road Street Party, we will take over Dawson Street Intersection in Bulleke bek(Brunswick) The street will come alive, full of creativity with our annual Blak Dot Artists Market. This free all-inclusive family-friendly event will feature over 30 stalls showcasing the work of artists from local and international Indigenous nations and communities, as well as cultural performances and free workshops where visitors can engage, learn and create alongside the artists.
Discover and take home original artworks and designs, handmade clothing and jewellery, and enjoy an afternoon of live cultural performance, Indigenous music and food . Open between midday and 6pm you’ll find the market on the corner of Dawson Street and Sydney Road in the middle of the main festival drag.
The first Sunday in MArch – from midday until 6pm – DAWSON Street, Brunswick
Engakeng-eng (song) Stage (Cr Glenlyon and Sydney rd) will have a great line up programmed through out the day with Welcome to Country followed by Cultural Evolves, Madi Colville Walker, Izy, ChikChika, Toirū, Teether & Kuya Neil, Sound of Polynesia, Yirinda, Miss Samoa Victoria and Bumpy.
